-was this just a dream?

i was asked to do a "floral" shoot for my close friend, karen bever, as she needed some pictures for her new business. BoKa (bo-kay) is her creation. she is, in my mind, the most talented florist in az. it was not hard to find a supporting crew to beautify these models with hair and dresses.

another very close friend, kerri metcalf, did the make up.

it was a perfect day up in jerome, az with fun friends each exploding with talent.

i shot my first wedding.

and with my trusty sidekick, jose de orta, i think i pulled it off.

there were SO many pictures to choose from and this is just a small sample of the loveliness.

when we figure it out, i'll post pictures from the fun booth we set up at the reception.

it was way more fun than my own wedding.
