what do interior designers do when they're not hanging curtains or stewing over shades of green?

they design clothes and compete against each other in the most fun runway show i've ever been to.

with gowns made out of untraditional materials (shower tiles, carpet, drapes, vinyl, etc) and hair and makeup done by toni & guy, the IIDA SW fashion show was more fun than picking out hand scraped hard wood flooring.

i looove firemen.
and not for the cheesy cliche reasons.
my grandpa kesler was a fireman for the long beach, ca fire department and i was raised to view them as heroes.
this week i took some pictures of tommy reeve and his son, tommy reeve, as a valentine's day gift to mrs. tommy reeve.
the idea is to take a similar picture of them walking every year.
a cool way to watch little tommy grow through the years.

seriously, i fought every giddy giggle that wanted to surface.

here's what i found in my garage before they loaded up and left-

they're having a girl and naming her liberty.

they thought it would be fitting to do the shoot at liberty market in gilbert.
i couldn't have been more excited!!
